About

Learning to zoom out from pixels and zoom in on people.

I am a student at Harvard studying neuroscience and computer science. I like understanding human behavior and abilities through the lens of both neuron activity and experience design. UX methodology is just another tool I use to see into the human brain.

When I am not conducting research on products or monkey brains, I love to water ski, travel to new places, make animations, and indulge in (way too much) ice cream.

My story

In 4th grade, I was making inventions to deliver water to my dog’s water bowl. In high school, I was creating logos for campaigns and doing branding for my own Etsy shop. Later on, I was illustrating and writing children’s book and using watercolor animation to tell stories like this. Then, I began studying neuroscience to better understand human perception, behavior, and interaction.

Finally, I arrived at the culmination of all my creative thinking, storytelling, and research: UX. By applying principles from neuroscience and cognitive psychology , I am able to better inform my designs and solve bigger problems. I am also a strong believer that inclusive design is the best way to consider the wide range of human ability and experience. Thus, I fight for inclusive design not solely as a strategy to reach more people and add more value, but to recognize our humanity, our limitations, and stay tied to the goal of human-centered design: people.

I spy with my little eye…

users, problems, solutions.
